Making businesses sparkle for 17 years!

November 24th, 2022 Martin Walker Business 0 comments 0

When Beverley Wardrop set up Diamond Cleaning 17 years ago, she could not have imagined that one day, she would be managing more than 80 staff and 110 commercial cleaning contracts.

But that’s how successful her business is today, thanks to a combination of hard work, exceptional customer service and a great team.

Little surprise then that Beverley has retained a good number of the first customers she started out with 17 years ago, as well as attracting more from as far North as Seaton Burn down to Ripon in North Yorkshire.

So, what is the key to this success?

For Beverley, it’s all down to a dream team, led by herself as managing director and operations manager Stephanie Harker.

Assisting Stephanie in her role is regional manager Nicky Goulding and area managers Dawn King and Carol Millward. In addition to the management structure there is also a number of supervisors.

“I started the business from scratch and we still get a lot of our business through word of mouth, just like we did in the beginning” Beverley says.

“Our success is all down to our exceptional customer service and commitment to keeping the customer happy.”

Diamond Cleaning work across a wide range of sectors including doctors’ surgeries, dentists, offices, schools, engineering firms and factories.

As a CHAS-accredited organisation, Diamond can be relied upon to uphold the highest standards of health and safety, whatever environment they are required to work in.

“All our staff have exceptionally high standards and a great deal of pride in their work,” says Beverley. “They thrive off great relationships with our clients.”

Recently, Beverley has had the privilege of becoming the sponsor for Darlington Football Club’s Under-12s youth team, which enables them to purchase their playing kit and training equipment.

She said: “Being able to give youngsters an opportunity to play grassroots football gives me immense pleasure.”

The club has seen huge success recently when they won the West End Youth Football tournament and they are now in the third round of the FA Youth Cup.
