LOOKING FOR SOMETHING TO DO?

February 4th, 2012 Martin Walker Music, News 0 comments 0

Stuck for something to do tonight?

The Turbinia pub continues its series of gig-nights tonight with Washington five-piece band Reload.

Formed in September 2005, Reload play Classic Rock songs from bands such as Thunder, Whitesnake, Free, Bad Company, Bryan Adams, Rainbow, ZZ Top, Beatles, Van Halen, Cream, Queen, Thin Lizzie Pink Floyd, Bon Jovi, T Rex, Gary Moore, Aerosmith, Mott the Hoople, The Stones, Billy Idol, Allana Miles, Bill Withers, Foreigner and Journey.

Tub manager Gary Soakell said: “We’ve had Reload here before and they’re a tremendous act, really popular.

“I always vet the bands before we hire them for the Turbinia so we know what we’re getting and the punters won’t be disappointed tonight.”

The band will start at around 9pm, entry to all gigs at the Turbinia are free, and they have live music every Saturday night.
