November 15th, 2014 Aycliffe Today Reporter Community, News 0 comments 0

CYL courses

Colour your Life free creative and learning courses are now underway at the Pioneering Care Centre in Newton Aycliffe.

PCP use professional, experienced tutors who deliver artistic and informal learning activities whilst providing opportunities for friendship in a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment.

Beat the Winter Blues started this week (every Wednesday, 10am-12noon). The course includes five weeks planning and preparing for a stress free Christmas, covering money management, avoiding family arguments and sharing the workload.

The course continues from 7th January and will include motivational and mood boosting tips and advice on how you can make real and meaningful changes to your life in the New Year.

Christmas Crafty Creations starts on Monday (17th November, 1-4pm) for four weeks. Learn how to make a variety of Christmas crafts including decorations, cards, gift boxes, tags and personal gifts.

Art Journals starts on Tuesday 18th November, 10am-12noon, for 10 weeks. Combine art with words to express yourself. You don’t need to have any art skills; you will learn step by step how to create beautiful journals.

Christmas Healthy Cooking starts on 20th November, 1-3pm, for five weeks. Recipes and menus for the festive season.

Coming soon in January 2015: Gemstone & Colour Therapy, Intro to Holistic Therapies and Pottery Making. Check online for updates colouryourlife.org.uk
