Jobs available as Aycliffe manufacturer hosts three recruitment open days

March 7th, 2023 Martin Walker Business 0 comments 0

A Newton Aycliffe manufacturing firm is starting the new year by hosting a number of recruitment open days as it creates a number of new jobs to support its growth plans.

Senstronics, based at Angels Close on Aycliffe Business Park, is hosting the recruitment events this month – on

The firm already employs 140 people at its Aycliffe site and is looking to add a number of production operators to support its high-volume assembly of components.

Established in 1999, Senstronics produces thin film pressure transducers to agricultural, construction, automotive and industrial sectors globally.

“We’re delighted to have a number of job opportunities at Senstronics, as we start the new year with ambitious growth plans,” said unit 3 production supervisor Kevin Tull.

“By inviting job seekers to visit Senstronics – those who are currently out of work, or looking for a new opportunity – we’re hoping to fill our vacancies with permanent contracts in our production facility, and expand the skills/experience within the existing workforce.”

Senstronics is opening its doors on:

Wednesday, March 8 (11am-2pm)
Monday, March 13 (5-7pm)
Saturday, March 18 (10am-1pm)

The firm is inviting interested candidates to visit the site and get a feel for what the company does.

If you like what you see, you’ll be interviewed the same day and potentially could be offered a position to join Senstronics in March.

The event will allow visitors to talk to existing employees and observe the production process – the company will also provide information about the benefits associated with working at Senstronics.

Registration for the event isn’t required, but anyone interested in finding out more can email [email protected].
