HUNTSMAN GETS INTO BRITISH SPIRIT!

June 2nd, 2012 Martin Walker News 0 comments 0

By Martin Walker

The Huntsman pub in Newton Aycliffe is getting into the British spirit this summer with a specially-themed fundraising night.

The popular Woodham pub has organised a Royal Family fancy dress karaoke night next Saturday (9th June).

The event is to raise funds for the Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS), and Huntsman organisers are hoping to beat last year’s total of £600.

As well as a disco, the event will also feature a raffle with prizes including cash, a Blu-Ray player and garden furniture, all donated by local businesses.

A spokesman for GNAAS said: “It is fantastic that The Huntsman pub has decided to support us once more – we rely on donations to survive and appreciate every penny donated.”

Entry is free and everyone is welcome.

Any other local businesses wishing to donate prizes should contact Chris Broad at the Huntsman on 07817 259537.
