‘Honest John’ donates £700 to PCP gardeners

The Pioneering Care Partnership’s green-fingered gardeners were thrilled to receive a donation of £700 from Newton Aycliffe’s famous Honest John.

PCP chief executive Carol Gaskarth said: “Local donations and support has been overwhelming and we cannot thank John enough for this very generous contribution.

“Our dedicated volunteers are working to transform the garden have big plans…their next goal is to have a Giant Greenhouse to match the Super Shed!”

Jude, one of the volunteers, added: “We are very grateful to John for his kind donation, were have visited other local gardens and are really inspired to make the community garden at PCP the very best it can be so that more people can enjoy it.

“This support will make a tremendous difference to us. Thank you so very much.”
