Have a say on local issues at board meeting

November 17th, 2016 Martin Walker Community 0 comments 0

Residents in Great Aycliffe and Middridge can find out how local issues are being tackled when the local area action partnership holds their next board meeting later this month.

Members of the public are invited to observe the Great Aycliffe and Middridge Partnership board meeting at Greenfield Community Arts Centre on Tuesday November 29, between 6pm and 8pm.

The public can also raise any local neighbourhood or policing issues that they would like the board to address. These ideally need to be put in writing and sent in advance of the meeting.

The board will also be receiving an update presentation on the Durham Dales, Easington and Sedgefield Clinical Commissioning Group’s recent Urgent Care Consultation, while it will also be reviewing five project applications for Area Budget funding, as well as five proposals for Neighbourhood Budget funding.

Any observers in attendance will also have an opportunity to vote on the GAMP priorities for 2017-18 before the meeting starts.

All AAPs across the County are currently carrying out their priority voting process, the results of which will help shape the future direction and work of the partnership during the coming financial year, so this will be a chance for local people to have their say.

Anyone who would like to attend the board meeting should register in advance by ringing 01325 327441, or by emailing [email protected]
