Greenfield to welcome ‘Take Off’ festival

October 1st, 2019 Martin Walker Community 0 comments 0

Greenfield Arts will welcome Theatre Hullaballoo’s ‘Take Off’ Festival this season.

There will be a range of performances for students at Greenfield Community College and primary schools in the area.

Productions include ‘My Friend Selma’ and the story of Macbeth ‘Is This a Dagger’.

There is an opportunity for the public to come along to a community production of ‘My Friend Selma’ at Greenfield Community College Shildon on Tuesday, October 22, from 6pm.

Theatre Hullaballoo describe the performance as “a remarkable real-life story of one girl’s journey from war in Bosnia to safety in the UK – the tale of an incredible journey, a world turned upside down, loss, friendship, courage and conkers”. The show tours with a small after show exhibition.

Greenfield Arts continue to bring high quality and innovative performances to Greenfield Community College and local primary schools.

For further information and to book please contact Theatre Hullaballoo direct on 01325 405 680 or via takeofffestival.org.uk.
