Greenfield reveals plans for Summer Festival

April 13th, 2022 Martin Walker Community 0 comments 0

Greenfield Arts are delighted to announce the launch of a new creative festival for 2022.

‘Our Place’ Summer Festival will bring together creatives, local businesses and the local community and will offer an opportunity to the wider public to come together in the spirit of ‘festival’.

Greenfield are calling out to stallholders, artists, performers and local organisations to reserve their place for the festival.

The event will take place over three days in the summer – August 10, 11 and 12.

The event is a new venture by Greenfield Arts and is supported by Community Fund and aims to share creativity and offer fun activities for all the family to enjoy.

“This festival will showcase the very best Newton Aycliffe and the surrounding area have to offer,” said Greenfield’s arts, sports and community centre co-ordinator Rachel Curry.

“It provides a platform for us to support local business and showcase local talent. I am very excited to see this festival develop over the next few months.”

If you would like to reserve a table, a marquee or a plot to showcase your craft or art or are interested in offering a workshop or taster session please get in touch to find out more or visit our website www.greenfield-arts.co.uk.
