January 9th, 2020 Martin Walker Community 0 comments 0

Year 11 students at Greenfield Community College were receiving their Art and Design examination papers this week and will begin their final chapter at Greenfield as they work towards their assessment later this year.

The year group have been busy preparing for the months ahead with the expertise and support of specialist staff to help students reach their full potential.

Greenfield Community College offer opportunities in the arts engaging students in a range of creative subjects and use of an on-site arts facility in Greenfield Arts.

This has given students experience and insight into opportunities including chances to curate and exhibit their own work.

Students have engaged in many creative projects, having the opportunity to work with professional artists and be inspired to produce original artwork of their own.

To reflect the ongoing achievements of the school, Greenfield received the prestigious Platinum Artsmark Award in 2019, highlighting the strength in delivering a high- quality creative learning experience.

Greenfield Community College is a specialist Arts and Science School, that offers a broad curriculum and opportunities for young people to develop through an extended learning experience.

“We wish the students every success in their Art and Design exams and their continuing education,” said a school statement.
