GEM Partnership return to back 2025 Make Your Mark Awards

January 15th, 2025 Martin Walker Business 0 comments 0

A County Durham recruitment and training company is again backing the Aycliffe Business Make Your Mark Awards.

GEM Partnership is sponsoring the Engineering and Manufacturing category for the awards event being held at Hardwick Hall Hotel on May 8, in association with Senstronics.

The group – which has a strong presence on Aycliffe Business Park – joins Husqvarna, Business Durham and Moonrise 24hr Recruitment as category sponsors so far, as well as headline sponsor Senstronics.

GEM Partnership operations manager Kelly Lee (pictured above, right) said: “GEM are delighted to be sponsoring the Engineering and Manufacturing award again for 2025.

“The 2024 event was our first experience of the Mark Your Mark Awards and we were blown away by standard of entries their commitment and contribution to the area and, of course, the awards ceremony, too!

“Newton Aycliffe has and continues to play a huge part in our business, particularly the engineering and manufacturing sector, so to be able to sponsor this category again is fantastic, and we look forward to reading this year’s entries.”

GEM Partnership was established in 2009 to deliver recruitment solutions with exceptional levels of service to both clients and the candidates they represent.

Since then, the firm’s capabilities and services have grown significantly, while this ethos has remained at the heart of their business.

That includes the launch of a training division in 2017, which was rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted (2022), to further cement GEM’s position as a provider of complete workforce solutions.

Aycliffe Business Park Community (ABPC) board member Ian Proctor – pictured with Kelly and GEM’s Chris Boughen – said: “It’s fantastic to have GEM Partnership on board again for the 2025 Make Your Mark Awards after their invaluable support in us relaunching them last year.

“It demonstrates GEM’s commitment to Aycliffe Business Park and the continued impact the company makes across the park and beyond.”

Six categories are available for sponsorship, including Environment, Innovation, Service Business of the Year, Community Champions, Lifetime Achievement and Apprentice of the Year.

Businesses interested in sponsoring the event can contact Martin Walker on 01642 450255 or email [email protected].

• Entries and nominations for the Aycliffe Business Make Your Mark Awards are now open, with a deadline of Tuesday, February 25. Entry forms and criteria is available at aycliffebusinesspark.co.uk/awards
