Free badminton taster sessions

February 1st, 2022 Martin Walker Community 0 comments 0

Greenfield Community Sports are offering free badminton sessions for young people aged 5-11.

Working alongside experienced coach Peter Walton, Greenfield sports are keen to see young people having fun with racket sports, learning new skills and being a part of ‘Brilliant Badminton’.

The sessions – which will run each Saturday, 1-2pm, and will be totally free of charge – will initially run for ten weeks and aim to spark an interest.

Peter is an experienced Level 3 coach and would love to see badminton really take off in Newton Aycliffe.

The sessions will take place at Greenfield Community Sports in their bespoke sports hall – all equipment will be provided.

If you would like to know more about the activity and reserve your place, contact Greenfield on 01325 379048 or email [email protected].
