Organisers of this year’s free fireworks display have added four new dates for Newton Aycliffe residents to pick up wristbands for the show.

The event will be held at the OakLeaf Sports Complex on Thursday 5th November.

So far, 3,650 wristbands have been collected from 6,000 which are available.

Residents can pick up their wristbands on the following days:

Tuesday 27th October (9am-4.30pm)
Wednesday 28th October (1.30-4.30pm)
Friday 30th October (9am-4.30pm)
Tuesday 3rd November (4.30-8pm)

The event is only for those people who reside within the boundary of the parish of Great Aycliffe.

Wristbands are limited and a proof of residency is required in the form of any household bill, driving licence etc anything with your name and address on it. One person may apply for family wristbands. Entry is strictly no wristband no entry.
