When Newton Aycliffe Youth FC Under 13 Falcons badly needed a new playing kit and winter tracksuits they asked for help and got an S.O.S response…quite literally!
Stephen O’Sullivan, of S.O.S Plumbing & Heating Services in Ferryhill, did what others found difficult and put his hand in his pocket to sponsor the Falcons and purchase the new kit.
Falcons Team Manager Darren Williams said: “This extremely kind gesture from Stephen is massive to our team.”
“This kind of financial and kit support helps us continue to grow and develop as a grass roots football team and we cannot thank our new sponsor enough.”
