Donations “flood in” for PCP’s hydrotherapy pool campaign

January 7th, 2020 Martin Walker Community 0 comments 0

Award-winning charity Pioneering Care Partnership (PCP) welcomed members from Churches Together in Great Aycliffe to the Centre where they presented a cheque for £150 in support of the Hydrotherapy Pool fundraising campaign.

Churches Together in Newton Aycliffe consists of representatives from the churches in the area who come together to do amazing things for the community; including gifting funds to good causes.

The group visited the Pioneering Care Centre and after hearing about the aim to raise money to replace the Hydrotherapy Pool they kindly made a donation of £150.

PCP chief executive Carol Gaskarth received the cheque from Margaret Lee from Churches Together.

“We have been astounded by way the community has rallied round to help us with fundraising to replace the hydrotherapy pool,” said Carol.

“The initial challenge to raise £410,000 was huge and through the generosity of individuals and groups we are now over 80% of the way there.

“We are very grateful for the support of Churches Together and thank them for supporting this campaign.”

If you would like to support the fundraising efforts please call 01325 321234, or email: [email protected].
