Cricket rained off

Both of Newton Aycliffe Cricket team’s games were postponed due to inclement weather on Saturday.

The first team was due to play Thornaby’s second 11 at home, and our second team were due to visit Yarm’s second XI, but both games fell foul of the weather.

This week’s four senior cricket fixtures are:
Saturday 28th August at 1.00pm – NYSD Division 2 – Marton 2nd XI v Newton Aycliffe 1st XI
Saturday 28th August at 1.30pm – NYSD Division 4 – Newton Aycliffe 2nd XI v Preston 1st XI

Bank Holiday Monday 30th August at 1.00pm – NYSD Division 2 – Newton Aycliffe 1st XI v Rockliffe Park 1st XI – Match Sponsored by Midland Structural Services Ltd
Bank Holiday Monday 30th August at 1.30pm – NYSD Division 4 – Sedgefield 2nd XI v Newton Aycliffe 2nd XI
