BOY BAND VISITS WOODHAM ACADEMY!

May 8th, 2013 Martin Walker Community, News 0 comments 0

Projekt Weekend

Students from Woodham Academy enjoyed a performance from the band Projekt Weekend.

The boys were in school to take part in a cross curricular Music and Personal, Social and Health Education project, which allowed students in Years 7, 8 and 9 to sing alongside the band members.

The boys are an up-and-coming new band who have played with bands such as The Saturdays in recent times.

They are bringing out their debut single Second to None in the summer and will be supporting Little Mix on their next tour.

Tori Hanson, a Year 8 student and budding singer, said: “This was one of the most nerve racking experiences of my life but a real opportunity to perform alongside real musicians as an equal.”
