Two bikes were stolen during a burglary in Newton Aycliffe this month.
It happened some time between 11th and 22nd August, in Surtees Walk, when the bicycles (pictured above) were taken.
“The smaller bike has since been sprayed completely black and the larger bike now has black pedals and black cabling,” said a police statement.
Anyone with any information about the bikes is asked to call the police on 101, with reference SK1401690.
