January 13th, 2020 Martin Walker Community 0 comments 0

Cobblers Hall Sainsbury’s Local have proudly supported the Pioneering Care Partnership’s Options project throughout 2019.

Fundraising activities ranged from supporting events, hosting till collections and even a charity head shave.

Staff from Sainsbury’s have provided marvellous support getting involved in events such as attending the Options Charity Ball and even dressing up and getting in the spirit of things at the Halloween Disco.

A total of £1,347 was raised from by Cobblers Hall Sainsbury’s local, along with almost £200 from the charity head shave.

PCP’s Carol Gaskarth said: “Options members really enjoy popping to the local Sainsbury’s just round the corner from the Pioneering Care Centre, so we were delighted when they were chosen to be Charity of the Year.

“By working together we aim to raise awareness of disability, and importantly promote ability and independence.

“Partnerships with local businesses really help to promote the work we do. The teams have worked closely together and the end result is great.”

If you would like to support Options in 2020 please contact Linda West for a chat or to arrange a visit – call 01325 321234 or email [email protected]
