A round up of Newton Aycliffe Juniors Action.

WE 11/05/2025

Under 8’s Blues – Had an away friendly at Darlington United Vikings and were excellent from start to finish, with goals from Nate and Leland (3). POTM was Leland.

Under 11’s Reds – Faced Riverside Junior Yellows Riverside who are a division above and put in a wonderful team performance with goals from MOTM Bryan (3), Charlie, Marshall, Koa, Andrew, and Oliver T.

Under 13’s Whites – Entertained Durham County in a great game of football. Level at the break Aycliffe scored 4 great team goals in the second half through James (2), Albie and Saavn. MOTM went to both Ethan and Zander for their work rate down the left wing against a strong fast player.

Under 13’s Blacks – Travelled to face Crook Hornets in a friendly, winning 4-2 with goals from Kaylm (3) and Benjamin.

Under 13’s Juniors – Come out 8-4 winners in a friendly with Cleveland Juniors. Goals from Dom, Dan, OG, Connor (2), Jonah (2), and Toby.

WE 04/05/2025

Under 9’s Juniors – Travelled to Riverside Jnr Blues in the quarter final of the cup. The game ended level with goals from Zeke, Linc (2), Kian and Keaton. MOTM was Lincoln who led by example with 100% effort from start to finish.

Under 13’s Whites – Played away against Belmont, it was a thrilling end to end game with nothing between the two teams, eventually ending up in a 2-2 draw with goals from Michal and Maxi. MOTM was Michal for being a midfield general.

Under 16’s Blacks – Travelled to face Felling Magpies, securing a 7-3 win with Jayden scoring an amazing 5 goals, with Kaiden and Keaton adding the others. MOTM was Jayden.

WE 27/04/2025

Under 13’s Juniors – Returned to winning ways with a 3-0 win over Riverside Whites. The goals came from Dom and Jonah’s 50th and 51st of the season. It was goodbye to Phoebe and Mathis who are leaving for new adventures.

Under 16’s Whites – Played their penultimate game of the season at home to Riverside Blues, in what was a feisty affair. Aycliffe went down 3-2 with Henry and Ashton scoring the goals.

Under 16’s Whites – In their last ever game as a team were beaten 2-0 but finished the season in third place. Despite the result, scenes of celebrations at the end put a smile back on the teams faces and they walked off the pitch for the last time with a guard of honour from parents and spectators. The journey has ended, but the memories will live forever.

W/E 20/04/2025

Under 8’s Blues – Finished off their first full season at home to FC Hartlepool Golds, putting in a great performance with some good phases of play. Nate scored the goal with an assist from Oliver. POTM went to Harrison F for stepping in goal last minute with PPOTM going to Carter for brilliant hold up play up top.

Under 9’s Reds – Entertained Seaton Carew Sharks in a fascinating game from both sides. Both Aycliffe goals came courtesy of Fox whilst POTM went to Korben and PPOTM went to Orig who made some tremendous saves

Under 16’s Whites – Travelled to face Darlington Young bulls. Ashton (2), Noah (2) and Ethan scored the goals in a 5-0 which guaranteed third place.
