A round up of Newton Aycliffe Juniors Action…

Under 8’s Blues – Were at home to Riverside Juniors Barca. Aycliffe started strong and remained in control throughout. The goals come from MOTM Nate who helped himself to a classy hat-trick, with Carter scoring two goals.

Under 8’s – Travelled to face Norton and Stockton, playing amazing football in their best performance of the season so far with Cooper helping himself to a hat-trick, Harry and Alfie scored the other goals.

Under 9’s Reds – Faced an impressive Prissick Rovers side, but Aycliffe gave an impressive performance. POTM went to Matilda for amazing defensive work and never giving up and PPOTM went to Orig who was amazing in defence.

Under 9’s Juniors – Travelled to face Boro Rangers Barca, playing impressive football with goals from Felix, Connor, Kian, and Lincoln. MOTM was Zeke for a fantastic defensive performance.

Under 10’s – Travelled away to Auckland Moors Greys, playing very well, and scoring goals through Isaac D (2), Noah A (2), and Eddie M. Goalkeeper Harvey P made amazing saves to preserve another clean sheet. Parents MOTM was Noah A and opposing manager awarded MOTM to Isaac D.

Under 10’s Whites – Played against Dormanstown, from the start, it was Aycliffe who dominated the game. MOTM was Alfie today who never stopped running and improves every week. Parents POTM was Freddie for a brilliant performance.

Under 11’s Blacks – Travelled away to face Redcar Riverside Blues, Aycliffe played excellent with JJ and Alfie S both scoring hat-tricks, Jack B added another two goals and Liam B also scored. POTM awarded by the opposition manager was JJ for his goals and tracking back.

Under 12’s Blacks – Welcomed Stockton Royals, who started by putting Aycliffe under pressure, but good defending and goalkeeping held them at bay and Aycliffe battled hard throughout. MOTM was Oakley.

Under 12’s Whites – Went down 4-2 against Hartlepool Youth Yellows, with Oscar and Kian scoring the goals on a frustrating day for the team. MOTM was William.

Under 13 Whites – Entertained the Foundation of Light, coming away with a fantastic 5-0-win courtesy of goals from James (2), Ethan, Theo, and Oliver. MOTM was Thomas for his fantastic defensive display and great temperament.

Under 13’s Juniors – Hosted Kader Athletic, in a top against bottom clash. Aycliffe dominated throughout, using the full squad to it’s potential in a 13-2 victory. Goals coming from the relentless Jonah (7), Dom (2), Lucas, Mathis, Shay, and Marley.

Under 13’s Blacks – Travelled to Waldridge and won 0-1 coming home with all three points, thanks to a Jack H goal. Parents MOTM was Charlie who was outstanding in goal. Managers MOTM was Dylen for a great defensive performance.

Under 14’s – Travelled to face Kader, after falling behind, Aycliffe come back to win 4-2 with goals from Layton W (2), Oscar J, and Archie. MOTM was Oscar M.

Under 16’s Blacks – Welcomed Peterlee Evolution, level at the break, Aycliffe went on to win 5-3 with a strong second half performance. Jayden scored four goals, with Dylan adding a fifth. MOTM was Danny.

Under 16’s Whites – Played top of the table Thirsk, despite taking the lead through Ethan, Thirsk proved to be a difficult match. Jayden scored a second in the second half, but Thirsk run out 4-2 winners. MOTM was Lewis.

Under 23’s – Returned to winning ways beating Willington 8-1. The goal scorers were Sam B (2), Ben S (2), Noah (2), Andrew B, and Ollie. MOTM was awarded to Noah.
