Newton Aycliffe firm Beaumont Grounds Maintenance has announced a new partnership with Darlington Mowden Park.

The three-year deal will see the Aycliffe family-run business become the club’s official grounds maintenance partner, supporting the upkeep of training pitches and landscaping at the Northern Echo Arena site.

Last year, Aycliffe Business Park-based Beaumont celebrated its 50th year in business, and its services are now contracted at more than 150 different sites.

Beaumont’s managing director, Alexander Lineton, said: “We are delighted with our new partnership with Mowden Park.

“The club are very forward-thinking with their ambitions and community led values, both which align exceptionally well with our own.

“Over the past year we have expanded our client base with more commercial contracts and we are in talks with a number of schools across the North-East and Yorkshire, so 2016 is already looking like a great year for us.”

Beaumont has also secured a contract with Middlesbrough-based property management company Dodds Brown, where it carries out grounds maintenance services on its properties.

The company prides itself on providing sports and commercial grounds maintenance and landscaping across the region and is always looks for ways to develop its services for its clients.

Darlington Mowden Park managing director Lee Rust added: “The Northern Echo Arena now encompasses nearly 40 acres of infrastructure with grounds and multiple pitches.

“The partnership is another significant step forward in creating a first class sustainable facility. Beaumont has an outstanding reputation in its industry and we are thrilled to be announcing this exciting new partnership.”
