Newton Aycliffe 2nd XI fielded a team containing seven juniors, including two 13-year-olds and two 14-year-olds, so it was no surprise that they lost by nine wickets at home to league leaders Yarm 1sts in a one sided game that was frequently disrupted by heavy showers.

After 16 games, the second team have 150 points and remain in 7th place in the fourth division table.
