Saturday 25th June – NYSD Division 2
Rockliffe Park 1st XI v Newton Aycliffe 1st XI – weather was sunny and mild. Newton Aycliffe won the toss and chose to bat first.

Rockliffe Park 1st XI 167 for 5 after 31.1 overs
James Layfield-Carroll 2 for 38, Luke Telford 1 for 25 and Sean Morgan 1 for 25
In a below par performance Aycliffe were well beaten by five wickets away at division two leaders Rockliffe Park.
Sean Morgan (pictured above) had a good game for Aycliffe, firstly top scoring with 26 not out off 53 balls, including three boundaries. He then followed that up by taking 1 for 25 with the ball and also pouching a catch when the homeside replied.
Aycliffe picked up five bonus points from this defeat and they now have 150 points in total from 12 games played and drop down a place to eighth in the NYSD 2nd division table.
