Police arrested two people in Newton Aycliffe on Friday morning after police officers seized drugs from two properties.
Police say they executed Magistrates’ search warrants at two addresses in Langdale Place.
“A quantity of drugs have been seized and one male has been taken to custody,” said a statement.
“Another who has been given a £90 fixed penalty notice for possession of a Class B drug.
“The beat team take a hard line on the issue of drug supply and we ask that if anyone has any information on the dealing of these substances to private message this page or call 101 and report it.”
