Another group of international visitors were welcomed to Greenfield Arts as part of their International Symposium of Teaching & Learning.

Eleven colleagues from the Netherlands joined Greenfield for a morning of finding out about Greenfield Arts, Greenfield, SOLEs sessions and a language master class.

“We also had more local visitors that morning,” said the school.

“A group from Sunnydale Community College and Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form college joined a group of Greenfield Community College students for a masterclass in French, led by the QE students.

“This was a great experience for the GCSE students to learn from their AS level peers, they had a great time and learnt a lot!

“Our Dutch visitors were impressed by Room 13 and SOLEs, they had the chance to talk to Suneeta Kulkarni in India via Skype, they talked about the School in the Cloud project as a whole and what its like to be a Granny – hopefully soon there will be some new additions to the Granny cloud!

“The group really enjoyed their time at Greenfield, and it was great to continue to develop this link with the Netherlands.

“We hope to be able to return the visit soon! Find out more about the International Symposium on our blog www.greenfieldarts.wordpress.com.”
