🚜Returned to its rightful owner 💪

September 12th, 2024 Martin Walker News 0 comments 0

A stolen John Deere tractor and muck spreader were tracked down near Bishop Auckland this week.

After extensive enquiries, the vehicle was located and recovered, much to the delight of its owner.

An investigation is ongoing to identify those responsible.

Durham Constabulary launched the Rurali initiative earlier this year to work together with our rural communities and tackle issues specifically affecting rural residents.

PC 2774 praised members of our rural community whose continued partnership allows officers to act swiftly and effectively.

🗣He said: “It’s always great to have a positive outcome and I’d particularly like to thank our rural residents who continue to work with us to crack down on criminals who try to target their communities.”

If you have any information that could help please call 101 and quote incident reference number 169 of September 7.
