MP digs deep to support Aycliffe community garden

November 5th, 2019 Martin Walker Community 0 comments 0

Phil Wilson MP was a welcome guest to PCP’s community garden in Newton Aycliffe last week when he visited with a kind donation of £100.

Volunteer gardeners enjoyed showing Phil the fruits of their labour and talking about plans for next year.

Phil, a keen gardener himself, was pleased to see how the gardening project has developed and was interested in how the garden now provides fresh produce for PCP’s coffee shop ‘The Garden Kitchen’.

While he was at the Pioneering Care Centre Phil took the time to pop into see Options members who always enjoy telling him about what they’ve got planned.

To find out more about the work of the PCP or if you would like to visit the Pioneering Care Centre please call 01325 321234.
